KELLY DE GEER: ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

At the heart of this exhibition is de Geer's process—a symphony of knowledge, ideas, and meticulous curation. Combining profound knowledge of photography with her unique artistic vision, she constructs artworks existing between the physical world and complete imagination.

Kelly de Geer (b.1994) is a Swiss-American artist and creative director, blending creation, curation, and cutting-edge technology. A graduate of The School of Visual Arts in New York, de Geer's formative years included immersive experiences at institutions like Magnum and Steve McCurry’s studio.

After nearly a decade in New York, de Geer returned to Geneva in 2021. The shift from New York's vibrant energy to Geneva's lakeside tranquility posed a creative challenge, her usual subjects absent, leaving her uninspired. This prompted her exploration of Artificial Intelligence as a tool to push the boundaries of creativity and bring even her wildest ideas to life.

This exhibition marks de Geer’s first solo show, encapsulating a retrospective of her artistic practice in 2023, where she learned, experimented, and produced her signature AI artworks. Running from January 25th to February 23rd, 2024, the exhibition is accessible by appointment at OA Legal's offices, 1 Pl Longemalle, Geneva (next to the Vacheron Constantin store).
